Bivalve molluscs (Oysters) and fruits (Raspberries) were the two latest produce implicated in the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed; the total number of alerts is now reaching 23, above the 21 alerts from 2015.
Italy has been a strong provider of alerts, while France follows, both amounting for almost 74% of all RASFF alerts in Europe.
